K5OE 24GHz setup ...

Here (above) was Sunday's (August 18, 2002) trial of the S-band part of the system.  Full success.  It's ready to go... all I need is a satellite!  (For K-band testing)

The S-band feed is a full wavelength loop, placed 1/2 wl. in front of the K-band Cassegrain reflector (sort of a 2-element beam).  It works great.  I could hear the (S-band) beacon 5 S-units above the noise on my FT-100.
